Fire bowls, fire pits and water walls that sit side by side, giving a patio both warmth and the sound of water.
Fire and water make a surprisingly good pair. Flames give light and warmth and water gives movement and sound. On a patio, the combination makes an outdoor room that is a pleasure from spring through late fall.
We design the water side of combined features, including basins, spillways, scuppers and bubblers, and coordinate with a qualified gas installer or fireplace contractor for the fire elements. Clearances, materials and safety distances are planned together so the two features support each other.
Fire elements need clear space, heat-resistant materials and safe fuel connections. Water features have their own splash and slip concerns. We set the layout so each is safe and comfortable.
Some stone and tile cracks near open flame. We choose materials that handle heat and wet conditions and we use proper gas fittings installed by qualified professionals.
Seating that faces both the flames and the water makes the most of the pairing. We help you place chairs, lights and plantings for a relaxed outdoor room.
A fire bowl and a spilling wall together create a quiet, warm corner. Comfortable seating and low lighting turn it into the favorite room of the house.
