Tired fountains, fish ponds and waterfalls cleaned, repaired and brought back to the look they had on their first day.
Water features age quietly. Stains, algae and mineral build-up creep in. Pumps wear out, plantings overgrow and a fountain that once sparkled sits dry and dull in the corner of the garden.
We restore water features by cleaning, repairing and refreshing them. That can mean scrubbing and sealing stone, replacing a pump, rebuilding a basin, resetting a leaning tier, adding lighting and replanting the surround. The goal is to bring the feature back to a condition that makes you want to turn it on. We also take photographs before and after for your records, and we note any parts that are likely to need attention in the next year or two, so there are no surprises later.
Stone, concrete, copper and tile each need their own cleaning method. We use gentle approaches that remove stains without etching surfaces.
Cracks, leaks and loose tiers are repaired with materials that suit the feature. We fix the cause, such as drainage or settling, as well as the damage.
New plants, mulch, lighting and a thoughtful touch of stone make an old feature feel new, and often cost much less than starting over.
Old features often have no paperwork. We make a simple sketch of pipes, valves and the pump so future service is easy.
