Air diffusers, bottom aerators and fountain aerators that keep oxygen up through hot summer weeks and winter ice.
Oxygen is the life support of a pond. Warm water holds less of it, fish and bacteria use it up and algae can drop it low overnight. Aeration brings oxygen in and keeps water moving so it does not stagnate.
We install bottom diffusers for deeper ponds, surface aerators and fountain aerators for farm ponds and airstones for garden ponds. A quiet compressor in a small cabinet powers most systems, and the airline runs underground to the pond. We test the system after installation, check that the bubbles rise evenly and show you how to service the filters and the diaphragms so the system keeps running for years.
Fish gasping at the surface, a foul smell and sudden fish losses in hot weather are warning signs. Good aeration prevents most of them.
Bottom diffusers mix an entire water column. Fountain aerators add spray and beauty. Airstones are enough for small ponds. We choose based on depth and size.
A well-sized compressor in a ventilated cabinet runs quietly and cheaply. We mount it on a solid base away from bedrooms and patios.
Diffusers sit near the deepest part of the pond. Placed too shallow, they waste air and do less mixing.
