Rubber pond liners laid over protective underlayment, folded and sealed so they hold water for decades.
The liner holds the water, and a good liner installation is invisible. A poor one shows up as wrinkles, tears or a slow leak. Rubber liners are flexible, strong and long-lived, but they need a smooth base, careful folding and plenty of overlap.
We prepare the subgrade, lay protective underlayment, place the liner without stretching it and fold the corners and curves neatly. Liner edges are lapped upward behind the stone, and any seams are made with the right adhesives and tapes.
EPDM rubber liners are popular for their flexibility and long life. Other materials exist for special situations. We explain the options and choose one that suits your pond.
The liner has to cover the length, width and twice the depth, plus extra for edges. Our liner tool helps work out the dimensions.
Neat folds, no stress at the corners and enough slack keep the liner from tearing when water fills the pond. We take the time to do it carefully.
Rubber liners are easier to handle when warm. We schedule installs on mild days so the liner lies flat and folds cleanly.
