Tired, leaking or poorly built ponds taken back to the bones and rebuilt with better depth, liner, filtration and stonework.
Many ponds are built in a weekend and regretted for years. They are too shallow, have no skimmer, leak at the edge or push so little water that algae takes over. A renovation fixes the cause rather than the symptoms.
We start by draining and assessing the pond, then decide how much to keep. Some ponds need only new plumbing and filtration. Others need a new liner, deeper excavation and fresh stone. Fish and plants are moved to safe holding tanks and returned when the pond is ready.
We look at depth, liner condition, circulation, filtration, sun and plant balance. Most unhappy ponds have two or three causes that combine, and fixing only one rarely cures it.
Good stone, healthy plants and a sound shape are worth keeping. We reuse what we can, which keeps the pond looking established and keeps the cost reasonable.
Fish and plants are moved to cool, shaded holding tanks with aeration while the work is done. We plan timing carefully, because a rebuild in extreme heat or cold is stressful for livestock.
A rebuild is the best moment to add a skimmer, lighting, a bigger pump or a deeper shelf. Adding them now costs far less than adding them later.

It depends on what is wrong. Often reusing good stone and plants and replacing the hidden parts is the sensible route, and we explain the tradeoffs.
They are netted, moved to holding tanks and returned after the pond is ready and tested.
Yes. We can excavate deeper and reshape the shelves while the liner is out.
Many rebuilds take a few days to a week, depending on size, stone and how much plumbing is replaced.
Yes. It is the easiest time to add lighting, skimmers, falls and aeration.
