Large boulders and flagstone set with equipment and skill, so rock looks like it has been part of the land for centuries.
Rock makes or breaks a water feature. Small stones stacked in a neat pile look artificial, while large boulders set partly into the ground look like outcrops. Heavy stone needs equipment, planning and a good eye.
We select and place boulders, ledge stone and flagstone for ponds, falls, retaining edges and landscape accents. Each stone is turned to show its best face, buried to a natural depth and wedged with smaller rock so it stays put.
Local limestone, fieldstone and river rock suit Middle Tennessee well. We visit stone yards, choose pieces with good color and character and match the stone to your house and landscape.
Stones sit partly buried, grouped in odd numbers and tilted along the same lines. Large stones go in first, medium stones fill the gaps and small stones tuck into the joints.
Boulders can weigh hundreds or thousands of pounds. We use small machines to move them without ruining your lawn and keep crew and property safe during the lift.
Local limestone and fieldstone look right in Middle Tennessee. Using regional stone also cuts the distance it travels and often saves on delivery.
