A custom backyard pond with clear turquoise water, lily pads, large boulders and a cascading waterfall
How we work

Six steps from first call to first splash.

A clear, unhurried process that keeps you informed and in control.

The journey

What happens, and when.

  1. A phone mounted on a truck dashboard with a backyard and a garden pond visible through the windshield
    01

    Call or send photos

Tell us what you have in mind and send photos of your yard. We plan the visit so we arrive ready.

  2. A tape measure, marking paint outline and wooden stakes on a lawn showing the shape of a future pond beside a patio
    02

    Visit and plan

We walk the yard, discuss size, style and sound and mark the shape on the ground.

  3. A tablet with a blank design sketch and a pen on a truck tailgate with a coil of pond liner out of focus
    03

    Quote and schedule

You get a clear written price, and we agree on a day and an arrival window.

  4. A freshly excavated pond hole with shaped shelves lined with underlayment and a mini excavator beside it
    04

    Dig and shape

Excavation with shelves and a stable slope, with protection for your lawn and a call to 811 first.

  5. Large boulders forming a waterfall beside a lined pond with a skimmer box and plumbing visible
    05

    Build and set

Liner, plumbing, filtration, stone and plants installed with careful attention to the hidden parts.

  6. A finished backyard pond at dusk with underwater lights glowing, a gentle waterfall and a patio chair beside it
    06

    Start up and enjoy

Water treated, flow tuned and a walk-through with you before we leave.

Timing

How long does it take?

How long does a typical job take?

A fountain or a pond cleanout can take a day. A backyard pond with a waterfall takes several days, and large custom and commercial projects take weeks. We give you a time estimate before we start.

Do I need to be home?

It helps to be there at the start and the end, and we keep you posted during the work by phone or message. Please keep children and pets away from excavations and equipment.

What should I do before you arrive?

Move vehicles and anything stored in the work area, tell us about gates, animals, sprinkler lines and soft ground and do not dig yourself. We call 811 and take care of the rest.
